THE PARAGON ROCK THE HOUSE HARD BAND COMPETITION II PRELIM I

Took place @ The Hard Rock Cafe in Down-town Toronto!

A big thank-you goes out to the following bands (in order of performance):

Pyramid Theorem, The Doug Clayfield Trio, W.O.C, Freedom Thirty Five, Moira Darling,
1day2live, Wide Sight and On The Verge

These bands all put on an amazing show. Many of them from coming from outside of Toronto to perform! Thanks to all the fans & friends that came out to support the indie music scene in Toronto (all 398 out them) despite of the bitter cold! A BIG THANKS to the Hard Rock as well. It was very cool to meet a couple of members of Guns & Roses that were hanging out at The Hard Rock Cafe - what a great venue!

So many great bands, but only 3 bands will be moving on to play the Opera House on Saturday April 28th, 2010 for a chance to win:

Saturday, February 27th & March 27 - keep an eye out for the Feb. line-up and sign your band up for March if you are interested in playing!

*There will be two wild-card bands that get to move on to the Opera House from this competition as well so do not fret if your band was not selected - there is still a chance that they will be!
